FEATURED BEREAVEMENT HOLIDAY

SEARCH TIPS: BEREAVEMENT HOLIDAYS

FriendsThis is a special category dedicated to retreats and holidays for people who've been bereaved. Holiday trips designed specifically for adults (widows, widowers, partners, syblings), teenagers and children, who've lost loved ones.

Some of the retreats, holidays and breaks listed here will simply be offering ordinary getaways (of any kind) in a sympathetic, understanding atmosphere; some may be targeted at families, children and young people, with the aim of providing an enjoyable 'ordinary' holiday in a caring atmosphere, perhaps shared with others in similar circumstances.

Others will be quiet, relaxing retreats that allow space for grieving and sometimes a range of therapies to help people through the difficult times. Some may include bereavement counselling and support. Some may also offer subsidised or free breaks for adults and children in particular circumstances.
