UK: Lighthouse keepers cottages collection

SCOTLAND: The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses
For keen lovers of lighthouses we recommend a visit to Kinnaird Head Lighthouse, also home to The Museum of Scottish Lighthouses – based in the busy fishing port of Fraserburgh in North East Aberdeenshire.
Kinnaird Head is unique, it's a full-size lighthouse that's been built through the middle of a C16th castle! It's Scotland's first lighthouse, engineered to its present form by Robert Stevenson, who created the walls and spiral staircase through the heart of the castle building, while preserving the original castle structure.
The museum includes preserved keeper's quarters and exhibits to help visitors understand the history, lifestyle and stories of the lighthouse keepers.
