UK clubs & membership organisations that arrange ski, snowboarding & snowsport holidays for members
This page has been set up to list UK and Irish clubs and membership organisations that arrange ski, snowboarding and snowsport holidays for members. From dedicated ski clubs, national and local, with a programme of snowboard and ski trips on offer; to sporting organisations, universities, work and social clubs that offer one or more members ski holidays a year.
National UK ski and snowboard clubs
Ski Club GB – a ski club for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities including beginners; offers holidays and courses for members, plus many other member benefits.
The Ski Club of Ireland – ski and snowboarding club based around an artificial ski slope in the Republic of Ireland but also offering a number of holidays for its members.
Snowboard Club UK – snowboarding club membership gives access to savings including boarding camps and holidays.
Specialist national snowsports clubs
The Alpine Ski Club – UK ski-mountaineering club, with regular Alpine meets and expeditions to little-known mountain ranges.
The Eagle Ski Club – the UK's largest and most active ski touring and ski mountaineering club with up to 40 ski touring and ski mountaineering trips a year.
ARP050 Ski Club – a non-profit organisation with a nationwide membership for active people over the age of 50; arranges holidays in Europe for members.
Nubian Ski Club – a non-profit Afro-Caribbean ski club based in London, arranges ski holidays worldwide for members.
Disability Snowsport UK – providing ski and snow sports trips for people with a disability, including overseas activity weeks and an adaptive snowsport school in Scotland.
Back-up – Charity providing winter sports holidays for prople with a spinal injury.
Local snowboard and ski clubs, including those based around dry slopes and snow domes
Cairngorm Snowboard Club – snowboarding club running regular sessions on Cairngorm Mountain, with summer and winter training camps in Europe.
Edinburgh Ski Club – promoting skiing and snowboarding for the people of Edinburgh; they organise several winter sports holidays abroad and weekends to Scottish ski resorts each year.
Glasgow Ski & Snowboard Centre – discounts on all club services, including equipment servicing, trips and holidays.
The Glasgow Ski Club – winter programme of weekends to Scottish skiing and foreign ski holidays at special discount rates for members.
Kendal Ski Club – based at the dry slope in Kendal, arranges members ski holidays annually.
Keyneskiers – the ski and snowboard club of Milton Keynes organise group winter ski holidays in Europe, USA and Canada for members; for beginner, intermediate and expert skiers.
Midland Ski Club – Snowsports club for the heart of England, with club holidays for families, ordinary members and training weeks.
North Staffs Ski Club – non profit club who own and operate Kidsgrove Ski Centre and also run a members overseas ski holiday each year.
North Wales Ski Club – club holidays arranged annually for members.
Oxfordshire Ski Club – ski holidays are arranged to European, American and Canadian ski resorts.
Scottish Ski Club – promoting all types of skiing in Scotland and running an annual overseas ski trip for members.
Ski Club of Manchester – ski related activities, social events and club ski holidays abroad for members in the Manchester area.
Nordic and cross country ski clubs
Yorkshire Dales Cross Country Ski Club – club for cross-country skiers with members mainly from Yorkshire. Organises training and tours in the North of England, roller skiing, club weekends in the UK and abroad and an annual club holiday for members.
University ski clubs
Edinburgh University Snow Sport Club – trips to Scottish resorts and overseas trips to Europe.
University of Bristol Ski Club – skiing and snowboard holidays to Europe for Bristol students.
The University of Brighton Ski and Snowboarding – winter sports holidays by coach for students in Brighton.
Napier University Ski and Snowboard Club - annual winter trips for members.
Sheffield University Ski Club – also known as the Sheffield Rhinos club members ski trips annually.
Work and corporate clubs
Black Horse Ski Club – skiing and boarding club for employees of Lloyds and the Cheltenham & Gloucester; arranging up to five members ski and snowboard trips each season.
British Airways Ski Club – this special interest section of the British Airways Club runs snow sport trips for members, their families, and guests.
Stock Exchange Ski Club – annual ski holidays for members.
Sports, activity, outdoor and social clubs and groups
Plus – UK wide activity club for young adults aged 18 -35; groups in around 40 different locations and ski holidays arranged for members.
Sunday Brunch Club – social, activities and events club in Edinburgh with annual club ski holiday.
Lancashire Mountaineering Club – club for rock climbers, walkers, mountaineers, skiers and mountain-bikers with an annual down-hill skiing meet in the Alps, usually over the Christmas/New Year period.
The Avon Outdoor Activities Club – a Bristol based multi-activity outdoor pursuits club running annual ski trips for members.
Swaledale Outdoor Club – outdoor activities club based in the Yorkshire Dales and supporting a wide range of skiing interests including downhill, mountain touring and cross country.
East Pennine Outdoor Club – an outdoor activities club based around West Yorkshire; they usually organise at least one skiing holiday each year, usually to somewhere in the Alps.
Liverpool Outdoors Club – primarily a walking club, their annual ski week in the French Alps is preceded by weekly practice at Rossendale Dry Ski Slope.
