The SportsAid Californian Bike Odyssey
Sun sea and cycling! Minimum sponsorship is £2,000 plus an additional non-refundable deposit. The 2002 Bike Odyssey will have a special discount for those booking early. This will cover all flights, transfers, accommodation, lunch on cycling days and much more. Greenrock International will provide medical and mechanical backup, regular briefings en route, pre event training ride and a question and answer session. Other benefits include a pre event cycle ride, question and answer sessions, an event T-shirt and other promotional material, 10% discount on new Hybrid bikes and 15% discount on clothing and accessories at 'On Your Bike'. All put together by friendly and relaxed staff with experience of running International bike rides. The charity ... SportsAid, the Charity for Sport, has funded thousands of able-bodied and disabled British sports stars over the last twenty-five years, including Sir Steve Redgrave, Denise Lewis and Tanni Grey-Thompson, and now helps youngsters who are in desperate need of help with their travel and equipment costs. This challenge is one of SportsAid's main fundraising events of their "2001: The Sports Odyssey" campaign to raise £5 million this year for underprivileged young sportspeople. SportsAid is a registered charity who give Grant Aid to young able-bodied and disabled people of all ages.
