Pisces, the Fishes – hen weekend horoscope
February 19th – March 20th
Water sign
A complex sign, swimming in two directions at the same time, basically the Pisces hen changes her mind a lot so tie down what she wants from the hen event well in advance – and then stick to it! Pisces is a bit of a dreamer who can be easily influenced by those around her. She's sensitive, sentimental, submissive and loves beauty, be it in places, sounds, friends or objects. As a friend she's sympathetic, warm and great fun to be with.
Destinations:
Travel calls Pisces so don't be afraid to suggest heading off somewhere new; anywhere close to the sea will do. Try resort towns like Bournemouth, Great Yarmouth and Southend; or European destinations such as Cork, Lisbon and Tallinn. Many Pisces have a chocolate addiction so check out our chocolate breaks section for ideas.
Day activities:
She's a sporty type so action activities will appeal and naturally water based activities come top of that list – scuba diving, snorkeling, powerboating and surfing for example. Many Pisces enjoy camping so a summer hen weekend could be based around a girlie camping trip, either do-it-yourself or 'comfort camping' at a holiday park with ready-pitched tents and lots of facilities. More relaxed options are painting or massage courses; Pisces rules the feet so reflexology will be top of her list of pamper treatments.
Evening activities:
The Pisces hen enjoys a bit of escapism and fantasy so a good play or an Art-House film might suit her. Follow that up with a chance to dance and she'll be happy.
Eating style:
Seafood, Chinese and Thai food are her top choices. With her love of chocolate you'll need to make sure there are some good deserts on the menu too.
Drinking style:
True to her sign Pisces drinks like a fish given the chance, opting for rum based drinks Barcardi Breezer being a favourite; failing that white wine will be fine thank you.
Hen night dress and themes:
Pisces hens go for feminine romantic fashions in shimmering materials; they adore jewellery and shoes, often going a bit over the top with both. Her colours are violet, aqua blue and blue/grey. Fit a theme around her love of sparkles; perhaps bejewelled masks and fans, Dame Edna wigs and glasses, sequined bunny girls, or mermaids with slinky shimmery dresses and long wigs.
Hens on the cusp:
If your hen was born on the cusp of two signs (i.e. a day or so either side of the start and end dates) then she may be influenced by a mix of both signs; if that's the case then read the suggestions for both signs – move on to Aries or back to Aquarius. |
