What to look for from a Scrabble break
Apart from the cruises these will mostly be hotel based. Some will be social, some competitive and many will include tuition – some will combine all of these. These sort of breaks are often very suitable for single travellers but you are advised to check for any additional charges for single accommodation.
Some of the places listed focus on breaks for scrabble clubs rather than on holidays for individuals, here they will provide a suitable playing space, but it may be up to the club to provide tuition, boards, competitions, prizes and, of course, the players!
