CANADA: Yukon open canoe expedition
An 8-day guided open canoe tour exploring the Yukon, an area of pristine lakes, impressive mountains and the Yukon River, the longest river in Yukon and Alaska. Starting at Whitehorse, the capital and largest city in Yukon, the tour will head north and travel over 320km on the river. As you paddle there will be opportunities to explore abandoned settlements; go wildlife spotting for black bear, moose, beaver and bald eagle; and hike in the forested foothills.

One of the classic Scottish canoe trips, this three-day guided holiday descends the famous River Spey in North-East Scotland. The Spey, the third longest and fastest-flowing of the Scottish rivers, is surrounded by pine forest and heather-clad hills. Speyside is Scotland's most celebrated whisky region and the river is renowned for its salmon fishing. The canoeing starts off easy but becomes trickier as the descent progresses. FRANCE: Dordogne canoe and kayak options
