Travel-Quest Photography Policy & Credits

The photos, illustrations and other images used on the Travel-Quest site come from a variety of sources. In all cases we endeavour to respect copyright law and use images in a legal manner. Do not use any of the images from this site without our express written permission.

Directory listing images:
Within our directory listings themselves the majority of images have come from the companies listed and remain the copyright of those companies. The images will have been supplied directly to us by the company concerned and we will be using the images with their permission. Before use we request that all such companies confirm that they have the rights to use any images supplied to us. We also use images supplied by our affiliate partners.

Other images:
Where we use other photos and images (in page headers, within articles, within Special Search answers, and where we use a generic photo next to a directory listing) these images will have all been cleared for use.

They are made up of: our own photography and illustration; images we’ve bought in from stock agencies (micro stock and rights reserved, credited where required); and images freely available under Creative Commons licences that allow for such use. Images used with a Creative Commons licence are identified by the use of (CC) on the credit on the page where they are used.

Where requested we are very happy to credit all photos and illustrations used, and where a credit is requested or required this will usually be shown on the page where the image is used. The exceptions to this are where an image is used on multiple pages and where an images is used within a collage of images (such as in some of our page headers). In such cases any credits will be shown below on this page.

Where small thumbnail images are used to introduce a featured holiday, article or news item the credit (where used) will be found on the page that displays the larger version of the image.

Please note that we do update this Policy from time to time, please review it regularly.
