ENGLAND: Metal detecting holidays

UK: Hands-on archaeological courses in Kent
The Kent Archaeological Field School run a number of affordable hands-on courses for anyone with an interest in archaeology and a desire to participate in excavating and recording archaeological data. This includes training weeks for novice diggers, teaching such subjects as: site survey methods, field walking and test pitting, excavation techniques, archaeological recording and pottery identification.
This section deals with archaeological fieldwork opportunities as holiday volunteering; participating in archaeological digs, excavations and archaeological projects in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
